A Liberian Sports Journalist based in Sweden wants an explanation of the method used to select players for the national team.

Mr. Simon Reeves said the way players are selected for the Lone Star has more questions than answers.

Mr. Reeves who reports for the BBC from three Scandinavian countries said

the technical staff was leaving out Liberian players who were regular on their teams.

He alleged that the coach of the Lone Star Frank Jericho was selecting players without taking into consideration their current form.

Mr. Reeves who is also former Secretary General of the Sports Writers

Association of Liberia wondered why Dulee Johnson would be left out of the Lone Star squad.

He said Dulee is currently the hottest player in the Swedish Premiership. The player has played and started 17 of the 20 league matches for AIK Solna.

Reeves told Star Radio that the Liberian international has also been named player of the month on two occasions by Swedish sports journalists.

He wants the coach to consider the player for future encounter so that the true reflection of players outside the country can be made practical.
