The country’s leading scorer in the first qualifying rounds of the
joint 2010 football campaign will not play the away match against
Senegal.
Oliver Makor who has scored two goals from three games so far in the
qualifying rounds is suspended.
Makor has two yellow cards and could not make the trip to Senegal with
the rest of the squad on Thursday.
Senegal will host Liberia this Saturday in what promises to be a
bustling showdown in Dakar.
The two counties met last Sunday in Monrovia and the match finished 2
-2 in an entertaining fashion.
Liberia must upset group leader Senegal if the country wants to stand
a chance for passage to the final qualifying rounds.
Meanwhile, reports from Dakar say Dulee Johnson will miss the match
due to malaria.
George Gebro and Esiah Benson will return from injury and suspension
respectively.
Veteran midfielder Kelvin Sebwe said the game was crucial to the
survival of the Lone Star in the qualifying rounds.
