Mighty Barrolle defeated Invincible Eleven, I.E. two (2) goals to
one (1) on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at the Mercer County College
Sports Complex in West Windsor, New Jersey. The game was in
commemoration of Liberia’s 160th Independence Day celebration.

Player of the Match Doko Wesseh
The match was largely dominated by Mighty Barrolle despite the
presence on the field of play by George Oppong Weah. Invincible
Eleven also fielded Anthony Gata Tokpa and Montee Doe, the little
brother of Ezekiel Doe. On the Barrolle side, Veteran defender,
Solomon Joe was the rock of Gibraltar, Doko Wesseh was the mid field
maestro who practically dictated the pace of the game. Other
prominent players for Barrolle included Oliver, Leon Brown, and
Gayee Suah, the young and upcoming goalie from Philadelphia.
Barrolle scored the curtain raiser in the 26th minute of the first
half through Oliver. Mid way in the second half, Barrolle increased
her tally through Lorenzo, a sticker from ROZA Club of Staten
Island. I.E.’s lone goal was scored in the 35th minute of the second
and there after it was all Barrolle’s affairs
The match was witnessed by approximately 1,600 spectators from all
works of life. The game was played under a friendly atmosphere.
Other distinguished personalities who witnessed the game were Mrs.
Tarlow Miller, President of the Liberian Community Association of
Central New Jersey and the Metropolitan Areas, and Ambassador Juli
Endee, who put up a splendid performance at halftime along with her
young dancers.
