Lone Star Trains in Accra

Accra, Ghana -A Power Liberian National Football team
delegation on Wednesday evening arrived in Accra, Ghana for
27 hours transit. While in transit in Accra, the Lone Star
on Thursday morning conducted a brief training session at
the Accra Stadium.
Coach Kaytu Smith men were high form during the practice
session this morning. The team also working on ...the
finishing touches in front of goal. Meanwhile, the Lone Star
will on Thursday afternoon @ 4 GMT conduct the last training
section before departing for Namibia to honor the second leg
African Cup of Nations preliminary qualifying match with the
brave warriors of Namibia on Saturday, June 16 at the
Independence Stadium in Namibia.
The Lone star will depart Accra on Wednesday night @ 22 GMT
for Namibia. Liberia won the first leg 1-0 on February 29 in
Monrovia. The decisive moment in the game came after Dioh
Williams found the back of the net to convert one of a
number of chances created by the home side.
The Lone Star needs to win or put up draw against Namibia to
qualify for the group stage of the 2013 Nations Cup
