Local Players Called to Train for Rwanda Match

Ahead of the pending Rwanda versus Liberia match, which is scheduled
to take place on the second weekend of September in Rwanda, 23
players have been invited to begin training today at the Antoinette
Tubman Statium in Monrovia.
According to a communication from the operation's department of the
local football house signed by Benedict W. Wreh, Sr., Administrative
Manager of the Liberia National team, the players are to begin
training for the Rwanda return match in the ongoing qualifiers of
the 2008 African Cup of Nations.
The names of the 23 players recalled to begin training are as
follows: Jackson Wleh Doryen, Saylee Swen, Jerry Bing, Morris Tar,
Solomon Wesseh, Arthur Jerry, Hallie Lahai and George Baysah. Others
are Gizzi Dorbor, Frank Nagbe, Jr. Nuzohn Kulala, Ben Martin, Prince
Garwo, Vamah Kpoto, Vetalise Sieh, Johnny Bleedee and Sengbe
Kennedy.
The rest of the players named are Robert Teah, James Zotiah, Alfred
Kortu, Leon Power, Shelton Barlee and Partrick Wleh.
Liberia is in Group 5 and has 4 points from 5 matches. The country
is third on the Group 5 table behind group leaders Cameroon; which
has 15 points and Equatorial Guinea, which has 7 points.
