Liberians Challenging Indonesian Championship

Liberian international Edward Junior Wilson is closing on the Indonesian main league title; the Liberian is playing for table leader PS Semen Pagand that is toping with 24 points from 13 matches.

The Liberian is the top scorer in the Indonesian Prima Liga with nine goals from thirteen matches this season. The striker finished as second top netter last season with 24 goals.

Meanwhile other Liberians playing in the Indonesian league are battling things for the championship in the Indonesians newly established leagues, it is another top league just as the Prima Liga, but have different administration.

Zah Rahan Krangar employer Persipura Jayapura is the champion of the league and they are currently second on the table with 45 points from 21 league matches.

The Liberian midfielder is pocketing six goals from 19 matches played this season for the Red and Black shirt.

James Koko Lomell joined the league during the start of the season from LISCR FC, the Liberian dribbler signed with Gresik United and has four goals to his credit from fifteen league matches this season and they are position 13th on the log with 20 points from twenty matches.

Eric Weeks Lewis and Eddie Boakay Foday are playing for Persiwa Wamena: midfielder Lewis has scored eight goals from his nineteen chances, while forward Foday netted six from the games he played so far.

Persiwa Wamena is 3rd on the table with 37 points from 21 league matches and keeping their pressure on the table leaders and fellow countryman Zah Krangar outfit Persipura Jayapura.

Forward John Takpor Sonkaliey formerly of Mighty Barrolle punched in three goals for his side Pelita Jaya from sixteen matches this season. The club is relaxing 8th on the ladder with 28 points from 20 matches.

Striker Amos Marah Kicmett of PS Delta Putra Sidoarjo FC is placed 15th on the table with 21 points from twenty matches. The Liberian striker is not ready producing goals; he is holding just three goals this season.
