Liberia-trio to HFF

James Takashi Teaway Jr.
Prince Somah
Prince Somah and James Teaway is already in place, Abdul
Bangura comes next week.
They are the two midfielders and the central defender who Härnösands FF
selected from the agent Tore Eliasson.
Just before the weekend came Association agreed with three
Liberian boys through their common agent Tore Eliasson.
Two of the guys were there last Saturday when HFF completed
training workout on the artificial grass in the NCC Hall of
Timrå.
Prince Somah, 19, defensive midfielder from Mighty Barrolle
who also played in Ghana.
- Prince is a strong, physical player who is a Central
midfielder. He hoped for a contract with a Norwegian club,
but his transfer papers from Liberia were delayed and that
we are grateful, says Dahlberg.
James Ikashi Teaway Jr., 20, from Monrovia FC winger who
also played in the neighboring country of Nigeria:
- A left-footed guy who is offensively oriented in the first
place. He came to Sweden just days before the transfer
window closed and ended up at short notice in Värmland in
Division 4t, But he had a chance with seven goals in four
games, says Dahlberg.
Prince has lived in Sundsvall in the fall and have seen both
HFF and Hudiksvall play. James saw both Division 1 - and
2-division matches in Värmland, so they know what the
"Swedish style" demands.
- Hard work, says Prince, smiling. But he has absolutely
nothing against it. Without hard work you can not win any
football games, simple as that.
But HFF have also been on track to sign another Liberian
soon who is a few years older Abdul Bangura who was football
educated in the United States.
- There is a guy we had on an trial last autumn and he
impressed greatly on both Niclas and Jonas (train pair Pour
Dahl and Nordin). Bangura is a powerful central defender
with good physics and good eye for the game, says Göran
Dahlberg.
Bangura joins the team next week.
HFF play their first friendly match this weekend March 3 to
4 against GIF Sundsvall U21.
