Laffor rules out
move to Sundowns

Written by Horatio Bobby Willie
Liberian forward Anthony Laffor has ruled out a move to Supersport
United neighbors Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Super sport United maskman said he was happy at the defending
league champions and had no intention of leaveing them.
Laffor has been linked with a switch to Sundowns, but has snubbed the
offer to help United clinch their third successive championship.
The player told Football365.co.za that news of his departure to
Sundowns is being highly carried by people but said the club
authorities have never approached him on the matter.
According to Laffor, life for him at Super sport United was enjoyable
and there was no need to make a switch elsewhere.
He said he wasn’t bothered by the amount he was earning at the club
and said he looked forward to better days.
Anthony Laffor’s club are three points adrift second-placed Sundowns
who have a game in hand but the player said he is certain his side can
maintain pole position until the curtain comes down on the 2009/10
league season.
United have six games to the end of their league campaign and a win in
all six matches would guarantee them another championship.
