Kollie Hails Trenton Chapter Of Barrolle
                                         Aaron B. Kollie

By Julu M. Johnson, Jr.

The Financial Officer and Basketball Coordinator of Mighty Barrolle, Mr. Aaron B. Kollie has commended the gesture of the Trenton Chapter of the club to raise funds for the Rollers.

His commendation comes ahead of the planned "Operation Adopt A Player" campaign organized by the Barrolle Trenton Branch.

He said the effort by the Trenton Chapter will be in the right direction as the club seeks to make a strong comeback in both the football and basketball leagues.

The Mighty Barrolle official called on other staunch fans and officials of Mighty Barrolle in the United States to buttress the efforts of their colleagues in helping to return the Red Boys to pre-war status.

The fund raising rally of Mighty Barrolle will take place this month. The Mighty Barrolle Sports Association of Trenton will raise the funds for the Red Boys through the “Operation Adopt a Player Night” initiative.

The fund raising rally will be held on October 20, 2007 at the Liberian Community Center in Trenton.

With a cost US$5 for entry to the occasion (with a first drink free), all proceeds would be subsequently sent to Liberia to pay the salaries of both football and basketball players and the technical staff of Mighty Barrolle.

The Trenton Chapter hopes to also raise the funds through the sale of delicious food and drinks that would be available at reasonable prices.
