Kahn picks bone
with LFA

A local football Administrator has described as unfortunate the LFA
failure to hold the controversial Mini Congress.
The Liberia Football Association last month failed to hold the
congress due to the lack of FIFA to approve its 2009 statues and the
incompletion of the Voscon audit report.
There has been no green signal from the local football house for the
holding of the congress with just a little over three months to the
much talked about political congress.
Mr. Samuel Kahn of Kahn United wondered why authorities at the LFA
have refused to provide clearity on the conduct of the congress giving
the limited period of time to the elections.
He said the LFA action sets a bad precedent for the running of the
game in the country.
The local football house is yet to send its legal officer to Zurich,
Switzerland to defend the controversial 2009 statues since it took the
decision to indefinitely cancel the conduct of the mini congress
something the Kahn United Board Chairman believes would still ban
those he called potential leaders from participating in the elections.
Another reason why authorities at the LFA cancelled the congress was
due to the incompletion of the much talked about Voscon audit report.
It has been a little over three weeks now since the firm completed its
audit of the financial statement of the LFA but results of its report
are yet to be let out to the public.
But Mr. Kahn thinks the results should be made to the public in the
name of transparency
