Liberia’s player at the moment Sekou Jabateh Oliseh is injured which could mean trouble for the Lone Star. The CSKA Moscow winger limped off the team’s training session on Monday evening at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) due to a calf problem.

He was the hurriedly attended to by the medic who placed an ice on a bandage on the injured spot as the player changed his outfit to stay out of the session.

Jabateh is reportedly suffering from fatigue as the Russian league is the only league in Europe this season that had three phases. After the first two phases, the top eight teams were made to play another phase, making it 44 matches in all, and then the Russian cup and the champions’ league added, the quick winger is indeed tired and need rest.

The league in that part of the world had to be played in such fashion as the football authorities there want to be of the same schedule with the rest of Europe’s league which shows there has been plenty of football for the 21 year old this season.

According to reports, the player is expected to do an X-ray today to know the length of the injury which could mean a serious problem for the Lone Star ahead of the epic World Cup qualifier with the rampaging Senegal Lion Teranga. At the same time, the player is likely to miss the June 19 African Nations Cup away match to Namibia as he should be joining his club CSKA Moscow for pre season that same day. The Lone Star faithful can only hope that Jabateh is fit and ready for the Senegal clash.
