Swedish side IK Viking IF and Liberia’s first division
outfit Monrovia FC has established an international exchange
program with the objective of contributing to the rebuilding
of Liberian football.
The Swedish side gained interest in Monrovia FC and Liberian
football after they benefited from former Monrovia FC
striker goal scoring ability last season.
IK Viking has been working with lots of Liberians during the
ongoing preseason and had extended a three months
development program to Monrovia FC defender Archie Ujay Zeah,
striker Chachie Layee Kamara and its sport man Weah Ephraim
The CEO Wilhelm Myrer of Monrovia have welcome the
partnership as the right contribution from the Swedish side
to Liberian football and praised his club former goal netter
James Teaway for his brilliant performance during the second
phase of the Swedish league he played for IK Viking.
