IE Hosts Gedi & Sons In “Mathematical Final” Sunday
“Concerned Few, IE Executives Urge An “All Yellow Day

Mathematically we (IE) can win the premiership title,” a short statement by Invincible Eleven's “Concerned Few” secretary general Dennis Toe weeks back as his side gallantly continued to defy the might of some pre-league favorites.

Toe's Concerned Few and IE board of directors have since launched a sustained massive mobilization and awareness campaign to bring the championship hope to fruition.

Aside the pre-match and post-match financial bonuses dished out to the winsome “Sunshine Yellow Boys”, executives of the team are fast thinking beyond the title race to what happens next after the crown is won.

International exposures through friendly matches and the resumption of positive pre-war arch rivalry between IE and Barrolle through tournaments like “Who Owns The Land” are some of the brainstorming discussions now going on within the corridors of the “Liberian Darling Club.”
But before all of those, the team has the Herculean task to take on a former title hopeful Gedi & Sons on next Sunday, in a derby considered as the premier league final.
As vowed by Concerned Few's chairman Francois Junius, IE players adhered to their challenge to consider last Sunday's derby against low-rated Mark Pro as the semi final to the league, and came out 2-0 winners.

And in fulfillment of their daily post-match pledges, the board of directors and Concerned Few together on Sunday presented a purse of US$255.00. The presentation is the second highest amount in recent times from the two executives, following the LS$21,000.00 donated to the team after their 1-0 defeat of NPA Anchors.

Meanwhile, Concerned Few SG has disclosed that a week-long special mobilization of all IE fans, supporters, former players, and officials was launched yesterday (Monday) to ensure a massive turnout for the final match Sunday.

Mr. Toe re-echoed the demand of the players for every supporter, fan, executive to come to the final match in their traditional IE colors of yellow and green/blue with their drums and sasa.
“The boys know they are capable to finish the task successfully and are urging us to do our part,” Toe noted.

In a related development, the Concerned Few has promised the players of IE an initial widow's mite of LD$18,000.00 following the “victorious final.”

The group's chief scribe said the amount is just a kickoff to many bonuses that will follow.
