Dulee Linked to Leeds

By Wleh Bedell

bedellblessing@yahoo.com

Report reaching this paper says controversial midfielder Dulee Johnson is linked to English lower league side Leeds United. The short crisp passer who was last offloaded by Dutch club De Graffschaap when it was reported he was booked by police for drunk driving among other crimes is currently without a club and is reportedly in the passionate football nation of England hoping to go on trial with one of that country’s most historic clubs in his quest to get his career back on track.

The player is yet to be reached as effort to contact him via email has so far proved fruitless as there has since being no respond, but our contact says the pin sized playmaker has made frequent trips to England of late and there are plans to get to Leeds as a trial out deal is being worked on.

Having started his professional career in Sweden with Floda Boif, the international midfielder also had stints with BK Hacken and AIK Solna, all of Sweden, and had a disappointing spell in Israel with Meccabi Telaviv where he was offloaded. He nearly joined English club Birmingham City as the English club could not agree terms with AIK on the transfer fee and with this latest news of him being linked to Leeds should be welcome news for followers of Liberian football.
