Desailly Impressed with Nana's Fabulous Talent

Nana in action during the FA Cup finals
France 1998 World Cup winner Marcel Desailly is said to be
greatly impressed with the fabulous talent of one of
Liberia's rising stars Nana Gibson.
The Ghanaian born, ex-French international hardworking
midfielder turned defender has been thrilled by the lad's
explosive cum jaw-dropping display in the middle of the park
after watching the lanky but incisive playmaker showcase his
conjuring ball skills on Youtube (NANA by soccer 54019).
The midfield jewel who last season featured for Liberia's
darling club Invincible Eleven (IE), is currently in the
fold of big spenders FC Fassell in the Liberian First
Division where his delicious, quality passes and ferocious
long rage shots has so far made him the club's most
consistent and reliable player.
The Youtube link which was reportedly sent to the former AC
Milan man Desailly by his long time friend Clarence Lee Chea
who is on record of harnessing the talents of many Liberian
footballers, is said to have made the industrious
ex-Marseille man very impressed and has made several
recommendations to his friends who are top agents in France
and Italy in luring the lad to a club.
There are reports as well that some top notched clubs
including AS Monaco, FC Nantes, both of France, and RCD
Espanyol and SS Lazio of Spain and Italy respectively are
interested in the kid dynamite who is no doubt one of the
best performers on the local scene.
Further reports indicate that former Cameroonian ace goalie
Thomas Nkono who is as well a member of the technical crew
of Spanish Liga outfit RCD Espanyol has spoken volumes of
the "twinkle twinkle little Nana as he has expressed
interest in little Nana after watching his videos that were
as well sent to him by his long time friend Clarence Chea.
Gibson's passing prowess, movement and heavy shots on goal
gave Invincible Eleven (I.E.) the Liberian FA Cup last
season making him the best player in the FA Cup and the best
young player in the Liberian FA premier league 2010/2011
before moving over to FC Fassell.
The gifted player who is often mistaken for Chelsea's
Brazilian midfield enforcer Ramires due to his lanky shape,
precision passing, good work ethic, mazy runs, and long
range shots, is currently in Accra, Ghana attending to some
family matters with his beloved grand mother.
Nana is from a football family as his father Mark Gibson was
Captain of the senior national team the Lone Star. Gibson
who joined the Rollers from the now defunct Cedar United was
as well a midfielder whose telling passes and work ethic
made him win the hearts of many coaches, fans and even club
mates.
Serving as Captain of the Lone Star during the six nations
tournament to mark the official opening of the Samuel kanyon
Doe Sports stadium in 1986 where the Lone Star ended third
after beating the Sparrow Hawks of Togo 1-0 courtesy of a
goal by full back Simon Mattor, Mark Gibson's football
skills seem to have gone to his son whose virtuoso form
makes him a star to watch out for.
