Debbah, Nagbe, Kelvin, Gebro, Jabateh to Grace Reconciliation Match


The township of Barnersville comes alive this Wednesday, December 21, with a great reconciliation match taking place at the Barnersville Estate Sports pitch beginning at 4:00 pm.

The match organized by the MED(Massar, Edwin &Deo) Sports Management is intended to briong together key personalities some of whom were very active in the recent national elections in the country. According to the chief scribe of MED, Sam Kocca Wreh, the match is intended to promote reconciliation with the theme been "Reconciliation Through Football".

"A host of prominent individuals in the country will grace the occasion", the MED chief scribe hinted. It will be a match involving the friends of Liberia's Russian based winger Sekou Jabateh Oliseh and Friends going against the MED All-Stars. The likes of Jabateh, James Salinsa Debbah and Kelvin Sebwe will lead the Jabateh and Friends side which will include some youngsters like Marcus Macauley, Teah Dennis, Jr. ect.

As for the MED All-Stars, the president and vice president Deo Jolpleh and Edwin Tukpah will lead the side which will also include the likes of Joe Nagbe, George Gebro, Sunday Seah, Rufus Seydou, Israeli based forward Ben Martins, Cameroonian based Joseph Kelle Hinneh and the Kenyan based duo of Dirkir Glay and Freeman Mulbah.

Also, Representative Tanda Pollie will grace the occasion as he is expected to take the kick-off with the duo of Gabriel Nyenkan and Richard Kun also expected to form part of such historic event. "We think there is a serious need for reconciliation in our country. Thus, we are keen to work with the relevant stakeholders to make this work", Mr. Wreh noted. Prior to the match, the MED sports Management will honor Sekou JAbateh Oliseh for helping his side CSKA Moscow cruise to the round of 16 in the UEFA champions league where they have been paired against nine times European champions Real Madrid.
