Coach Landner Memorial Service in Ghana.

The Liberians residing in Ghana especially on Camp Buduburam, Accra and Tema has expressed their deep regret and heartfelt sympathies over the sad and shocking event (Death) of former Liberia National Team (Lone Star) head coach ().

The Liberian Refugees Welfare Council Sports Department headed by Mr. Rise Normal had had several meetings with top notch coaches including Coach Clarence Lee Chea, various football clubs, soccer loving Liberians and religious bodies to discuss their participation in the funeral service of the late national team coach Lardner.

At the end of the various meetings held it was suggested by former Lamco Enforcer forward, David Gotolo Johnson that a memorial service be held in honour of the former lone Star tactician. It was agreed upon and a day  was slated(Sunday,31st May 2009)and a venue(Christian Inter-Denominational Assembly,CHRIDA Church)was also chosen for the occasion, at the precise hour of 10:00 a.m. Prompt.

Those expected to attend the memorial service includes chairman of the Liberian Refugees council, Mr.Varney Sambola, Ghana based Liberian top TV presented, Iso Paeley,a representative of the Ghana Coaches Association, former BBC Sports reporter and top Ghanaian sport presenter  Y aw Ampofo Ankrah, among others.

The memorial service will also be covered by Ghana televion stations including the best sport station of the year, Metro TV, Net2 TV and E-TV.
