The twelve football clubs that took the Liberia Football Association
to court say they will withdraw the case from court.
A spokesman of the clubs said the decision to withdraw the case
followed series of intervention and consultations.
Mr. Andy Quamie told Star Radio the intervention of the Minitry of
Youth and Sports and those he termed as key stakeholders prompted the
decision.
The Watanga FC Senior Vice President also named former LFA President
Paul Mulbah as one of the interveners.
Mr.Quamie said the action was in the interest of football and the
young people who have dedicated their lives to the team.
It is not clear whether the teams will return to the league.
The LFA has already placed a fine on the clubs and has also released a
new fixture for the league.
Some of the clubs are LISCR FC, Watanga FC, LPRC Oilers, NPA Anchors,
Devereaux FC, Jasmine Rangers, Exodus FC and72nd FC
