Liberian international defender Chris Gbandi has scored his first
goal in Norway’s first division league known as the Adeccoligean.
Chris Gbandi scored in his FK Haugesund impressive league victory on
Sunday.
FK Haugesund beat Nybergsund 3-1 in a match they dominated.
Chris Gbandi who joined the club from US Major league side FC Dallas
scored from an inside shot in the 43rd minute.
The goal gave Haugesund a 2-0 lead during the match.
The goal was Gbandi’s first of the season and he capped an
incredible display.
His Norwegian teammate Weaver and the Nigerian Eike were the other
scorers for Haugesund in the 3rd and 90th minutes respectively
The win has placed FK Haugesund at the 3rd position on the league in
the three weeks old league with six points from three games.
