Cameroonian Club Sign Two Liberians

Cameroonian elite club Tiko have secured the services of two young
Liberians, Omega Roberts and David Tarpeh.
The duo signed with the club last weekend as the club aim to book a
place for the continental competition next season.
Omega Roberts is an intelligent rear guard who joined the Cameroonian
club from Ivorian side Sewe Sports.
The former Liberian club Gedi and Son defense icon had a stint in the
African Champions League in 2006 whenhe helped Sewe eliminate Liberian
Champ Mighty Barrolle on a 3-2 aggregate.
Their run in the competition ended when they were drubbed by
Cameroonian champ Cotton Sport Garoua which had in its fold fellow
Liberians Alex Nimely-Tchuimeni and Eric Weeks.
The youngster made his international debut for country on the senior
level in the 2008 Nations Cup qualifiers when a deplete Lone Star
squad lost away to Equatorial Guinea 2-1.
Tarpeh is regarded as a celebrated forward from the Bushrod Island
community. He had wandered round the continent by evidence of plying
his trade with Benin side Mogas 90, Renascimento Equatorial Guinea as
well as clubs in Togo, Ivory Coast, senegal and Mali.
After making strides with neighborhood club Small Town he joined LPRC
Oilers before moving to various clubs outside the country.
With the signing of the Liberian defender Roberts and striker Tarpeh,
fourth place Tiko form the City of Boya will be hoping that the pair
replicate their intrinsic form with their ambitious club.
