Coach wants Zortiah

Saturday, 25 October 2008
The Head Coach of German Bundesliga club VFL Bochum says he looks
forward to work with Liberian player James Zortiah.
Coach Marcel Koller told his club website, Zortiah first impression
showed that he is agile and technically correct.
Koller said he would give the Liberian player another opportunity
for justification and would keep monitoring him.
The coach is hopeful negotiations could go well for the player to be
part of his line up.
VFL Bochum Sport Executive Thomas Ernst said they initially invited
Zortiah for a two week tryout.
Mr. Ernst said the way the player has shown his ability to dribble
and attack from defense a deal could be reached sooner.
The VFL Bochum Sport Executive disclosed the Black Star FC player
was recommended to the club by Liberian coach Antoine Hey.
Lone Star Coach Antoine Hey and VFL Bochum Coach Marcel Koller were
teammates when they played for a Swiss club.
