Liberia’s Switzerland-based midfielder Bill Neewray, alias "Sekou Bamba" has expressed serious concerns over the training of the Lone Star.

Speaking to our Sports Desk yesterday via telephone conversation, the hardworking midfielder says he is worried over the conditions the local boys are undergoing. He said if the players are to live up to expectations, they must be given the necessary ingredients in terms of training.

Commenting on the forthcoming game, the Switzerland-based midfielder said with the support of every Liberian and coupled with collective work, the team can come out with flying colors.

He said the match against Ethiopia will determine Liberia’s chances in the qualifiers. He said the home game must be won at all cost.

Meanwhile, the midfielder said he is still concerned over the delay of football authorities to adequately respond to the proposal by the Swiss Sports Manufacturing Company, FEEL FREE.

He said the materials that were taken to Addis Ababa were sample to be used by the Lone Star in the match against the Ethiopians.

Commenting further, he added that if sports authorities agree to the proposal, the Lone Star stands to benefit from jerseys, balls, shin guards, medical kits, t-shirts, slippers, sneakers, bags, caps among others. "And when Lone Star qualifies for the finals, the team also stands to benefit from an endorsement contract when she wears FEEL FREE materials," he pointed out.

The players also says he wants the LFA send faxes of players invited on time to enable them book their flights on time.
