Weah Named to advisory committee
The president of the Liberia Football Association has
appointed an eight member committee to serve as advisors for
the Football House.
The Committee, which parades high profiled personalities in
the country, has these terns of reference:
to advise the LFA on policy matters;
to provide the LFA administrative and technical advice, and
to play an ombudsman role for the LFA.
The Committee is headed by Information Minister and former
president of the Mighty Barrolle Lewis Browne. It is
Co-chaired by former Chairman of LFA (president) Willis
Knuckles, why former vice president of LFA and former
president LPRC Oilers Siaka Sheriff serves as Coordinator.
Other members are football legend and former world
footballer of the year Amb. George M. Weah, former National
team coach Josiah N. Johnson, former national team player
Jonathan Sengwe and former IE player and former LFA EC
member Beeford Weeks.
Veteran Liberian journalist Omari Jackson completes the
list.
Meanwhile, the Committee is expected to host its first
meeting today at the LFA in Monrovia |
