Basketball Regular Season Reaches End

The regular season matches for the 2005 national league
will certainly come to a close at the Sports Commission on Broad
Street following the release of the fixture for the final round of
matches during the coming weekend.
Thereafter, the playoff version of the 2005
season will begin next week, sources at the Liberia Basketball
Federation (LBF) said.
On Friday, April 15, the first match of the day
will involve St. Paul Crushers and Commissioners. Then in game two,
Venture Knights will take on Royal Legends.
On Saturday, April 16, Commissioners will take on
Barnersville Snipers, while NPA Pythons will engage lowly rated
Bushrod Bulls in the premier division.
On Sunday, April 17, Bushrod Bulls will go into action
again, this time against the Yellow Boys, Invincible Eleven (IE).
IE s bitter rivals Mighty Barrolle will subsequently
meet Uhuru Kings in the day s final clash.
