Barrolle official rejects coach resignation

The acting president of Mighty Barrolle says the club will not accept the resignation of its head coach.

Mr. Othello Siaty said the Barrolle coach is to undergo some disciplinary action for acts incompatible to his status.

Mr.Siaty claimed Coach Christian Thompson showed a high degree of disrespect to officials of the club during the weekend match against Monrovia Breweries in Buchanan.

He promised that following a meeting of Barrolle’s executives on Thursday, the coach would be suspended for time indefinite.

But on Tuesday, Christian Thompson alias “Christian Cole” announced his resignation as head of Barrolle citing administrative reasons.

Coach Thompson also stated that the club has not paid him for more than 15 months.

Christian Cole had led Barrolle to the top f the LFA Premier league after it lost most of its key players to local opponents.
