Defending Premiership Champions Mighty Barrolle has dropped two points in the Liberia Football Association premiership league.

LISCR FC at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium held Mighty Barolle to an entertaining 1-1 draw on Wednesday. Leonardo Hiah put the defending champions ahead in the 36th minute.

Prince Garwo leveled for LISCR FC in the 66th minute following poor defending by the Rollers defense.

Two of LISCR signings from Mighty Barolle were not featured due to the lack of fitness. Solomon Grimes was the only player that made the squad.

He performed excellently during the second half when he was given the responsibility to play an attacking role.

Mighty Barolle remains at the top of the table despite the draw. The club has secured thirteen points from six league games.

LISCR is third on the table with eight points from six matches.

The day’s first match saw first division sides Exodus and Karn United settled to a 0-0 draw.

At the NPA Field Roots FC and Mark Pro also managed a scoreless draw.

The tournament will continue today at the NPA Field on the Bushrod Island and the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.

Second division sides New Georgia Pirates and Conquerors will meet in the first match at the ATS.

Gedi & Sons and Black Stars FC will close the day’s action in the premiership. At the NPA Field two female matches will be played.

Kebbeh FC and Tito United will battle in the first showdown. The day’s last encounter will see Pro Anchors going all out at home against World Girls.
