Barrolle buries NPA Anchors

Mighty Barrolle has beaten NPA Anchors in the first match of their best out of three friendly match series.

Barrolle dragged NPA Anchors 3-1 at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.

Bill Kiah scored two times for Barrolle while Osafah Bah added the other.

The best out of three series are intended to prepare the two teams for their continental engagement.

In the second match on Saturday, NPA Anchors walloped Mighty Barrolle 5 goals to 1.

NPA had a 3-0 lead at the end of the first half.

They added the other two goals in the second half before Barrolle scored her consolation goal.

The teams are meeting in a best out of three series in preparation for their continental engagement later this month

In the female side attraction, Pro Anchors upset Earth Angels 4-1 on Friday.

On Saturday, the two teams managed a 1-1 draw.
