Mighty Barrolle, over the weekend, won the special best out of three
tournaments that were organized between them and the Invincible Eleven
(IE) on a goal aggregate.
The best out of the three tournaments were organized to help raise
funds for the Lone Star U -20 female ahead of their second leg match
against their Algerian counterparts in the CAF female soccer
preliminaries over the weekend.
The tournament took place at the ATS pitch on Friday with the only
match of the day being played between Barrolle and IE. In the match,
the Yellow Boys flogged the Mighty Barrolle 2-1 in a very exciting
match, while on Saturday, the Red Boys returned for a revenge and
dragged the Invincible Eleven 4-2 in a match that was characterized by
complete fire works.
Yesterday, being the last day of the tournament, the two teams settled
to a 2-2 draw. Mighty Barrolle took the lead earlier in the first half
of the match, not until the Yellow Boys got the equalizer.
Barrolle was very outstanding in the match with their ten- man squad
containing the Yellow Boys until the final action of the match.
They won the tournament on a lone goal aggregate with both teams
having equal points.
