Barrolle Players to Stay in Cameroon
Written by Horatio Bobby Willie
Thursday, 11 January 2007

Star Radio has gathered that the two Mighty Barolle players that were held last week in Cameroon would remain in that country for one season.

The players were Alex Nimely and Eric Weeks.

The two will now play for Cameroonian club Cotton Sport of Gaa-why.

Alex Nimely and Eric Weeks were last week involved in a transfer saga.

The players were set to depart for Austria where they had gotten an invitation from although they were training with Cotton Sport in Cameroon.

However, a number of attempts but former Invincible Eleven player Benedict Nyema to get the players out of Cameroon failed.

The former IE player has now abandoned the deal with the players thereby giving the Cameroonian club the chance to claim the players.

Meanwhile, the man that took the Barrolle players to Cameroon departed the country Wednesday with a player of premiership club Black Star FC.

Mr. Mohammed Konneh took along Black Star top striker Victor Carr.

Mr.Konneh told Star Radio the player was invited by Cameroonian club Union Sportive Doula.

He did not say how long the player will justify with the club but expressed hope that Victor Carr would make an impact during the tryouts.
