Mighty Barrolle has received another boost to
their quest to clinch the Liberia Football Association (LFA)
premiership with the latest that the Trenton Chapter of the Rollers
based in the United States of America has paid players salaries up to
September, 2009.
The assistance from the USA based group has given
the red, white and blue outfit probably the biggest motivation with
players in high spirit to face relegation bound Football Club Azziz
Kara (FC AK) on Sunday, October 18, 2009 in Buchanan City, Grand Bassa
County in an attempt to extend the lead to the top of the 18 teams’ LFa
premiership log.
According to information gathered, the Trenton
chapter has pledged to clear the October salaries of players if the
team secures a win against FC AK this weekend.
“If paying players’ salaries will give Mighty
Barrolle the championship, we should be planning the championship
celebration because Trenton Chapter
is prepared
to clear the players’ salaries,” Mr. D. Zeogar Wilson, president of
the Chapter noted in a joyous mood.
The Trenton Chapter of Mighty Barrolle is the
most active chapter of the Rollers and has helped the red and white
outfit with financial and materials supports over the years.
“We want to win the LFA premiership and dedicate
it to the chapter that has done so much well for us in our mission to
clinch the championship. The chapter has cleared our salaries which
have boosted us for the mission,” Captain Fantastic Nuzohn Kulala
noted on behalf of the players.
Barrolle has spent almost a week in Buchanan
preparing to clinch the title with players given all necessary
motivations.
Mighty Barrolle tops the LFA premiership with 64
points with three matches remaining, while the other two title
contenders in the form of Barrack Young Controller (BYC) and LPRC
OIlers fighting with 63 and 62 points respectively.
Can they reach Barrolle at the top of the log?
Time is the answer.
