Barrolle In Away Champions League Match Sunday

Liberian football league champions, Mighty Barrolle are away this weekend in San Pedro, the Ivory Coast to play Ivorian side, Sewe Sport at the start of this year’s African Champions league campaign.

Like many other clubs, Mighty Barrolle has been feverishly preparing to create and impression.

The competition however, begins on Friday, 26th January with two matches. Libya’s Al Ittihad will play host to Benin’s Mogas 90 while former African champions Esperance of Tunisia will entertain Renaissance of Chad.

Two debutants face of in Nigeria. Sierra Leones Kallon Star meets Nigeria’s new and surprise champions Ocean Boys in the Nigerian city of Yenagoa on Sunday.

Kallon Star, the team owned and managed my Sierra Leone’s most popular star ever, Mohammed Kallon has won a couple of matches during the build-up. Prominent among them was a 3-1 trashing of Liberia’s Invincible Eleven (I.E) in Monrovia.

Their Opponent has also been hard at training and has similarly won a number of test matches.

The return leg of these matches will be played on the weekend of February 9-11. See full first leg fixtures below.
