Bahlodi Group Holdings has opened offices in Liberia with Steve
Davis being the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Through Bahlodi's countless assistance to sports development, Mr.
Davis was appointed International Coordinator for Youth and Sports
of Liberia.
Mr. Aziz Kara happens to be the overall Chief Executive Officer of
Bahlodi Group Holdings with corporate headquarters in South Africa.
Bahlodi has over the years shown interest in Liberia and was
therefore gratified when the war ravaged country joined the company.
He has helped Liberia in the area of sports by providing equipment
through a memorandum of understanding signed by the President of the
Liberia Football Association (LFA), Cllr. Sombo Izetta Wesley and
Ditiro, a subsidiary of Bahlodi.
Bahlodi, at the same time, has through the CEO invited the captain
of the female national, Florence Monbo, who needs a major medical
attention.
It has been diagnosed that she has an enlarged heart and cannot play
football anymore if it is not taken care off. Mr. Kara has taken
full responsibility of all costs involved in making the female star
to return to the pitch.
Bahlodi Group Holdings is a Multi-disciplined Corporation with
branches in Ghana, DR Congo, UK, France, USA to name but a few.
The company has the vision to empower Liberians and therefore has
interest in Sports, Communications, Housing, Mining, Healthcare,
among others.
Meanwhile, Mr. Kara is aware that Liberia has been without
electricity throughout the years of the civil war that plagued the
country.
And also knowing that the economic activities in the nation cannot
be effectively carried out without an efficient electricity source,
the Bahlodi boss has instructed the Liberian branch to contribute
six 60 KVA generators as an initial contribution towards the
development package for Liberia.
The items were donated to the Ministry of Lands, Mines and Energy
this week by the CEO of Bahldi Africa/Liberia, Steve Davis.
"Mr. Aziz knows that the Honourable Minister of Lands, Mines, Energy
and Natural Resources, Dr. Eugene Shannoh is a man of integrity and
his focus towards development is to be applauded," Mr. Davis
commented during the presentation.
"He has also asked that we convey to the President of Liberia, Her
Excellency Madam Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, the Vice President, Members
of the Legislature, Members of the Judiciary, the Cabinet Members
and the Liberian people his heartfelt congratulations on the
celebration of our country's 159th Independence Day," Mr. Davis
added.
