ABOUT

Ben Teekloh (born 6 December 1983) is a Liberian footballer defender/midfielder with Farul Constanţa in Romania. He previously played with Al-Nasr in Oman and Buduburam FC in Ghana. He is one of George Weah's accepted Liberian players. George Weah recruited him into the senior national team in 2001.

He is a member of the Liberia national football team and has 23 caps, including the 2002 African Nations Cup and the 2008 African Nations Cup qualifiers. He earned his first cap in 2001 against Cote d'Ivoire. As a member of the 2002 African Nations Cup Liberia National team, Ben Teekloh is among the few multi-purpose players Liberia can vouch of. He sprung into the Lone Star during the last World Cup Qualifiers and made his debut against Cote d’Ivoire in a special tourney in Abidjan in 2001. The lithe midfielder gifted with lovely skills helped Cameroonian side TKC to the finals of 2002 CAF Cup that they lose to reigning holders JS Kabylie of Algeria.

Teekloh is able to line-up in any defensive role, as a full midfielder or a cum-midfielder.
He’s a defender because of his sweeping roles and ability to wrestle and dispossess his opponents at great simplicity. Ben Teekloh is a full midfielder because he is able to spread acute defense splitting passes and ability to juggle the ball with great pace in the thick and thin of the game.

Ben doesn’t only play as the coach instructs, he plays as the tempo of game dictates, which makes most coaches comfortable with him.`
