Two days after Mighty Barrolle triumphed in the Lone Star
fund raising tournament, the Red Boys went on to hammer Monrovia Club
Breweries 2-0 at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) on Wednesday, May
14.
The Rollers got both goals through in-form Nuzon Kulala and Moses
Bayou.The victory gives Barrolle seven points and they share the top
with defending Champions LPRC-Oilers.
LPRC Oilers drew 1-1 with BUSA Friday, LISCR FC crushed Alliance FC
3-0, while IE beat Mark Pros 1-0 on Sunday, May 18.
Meanwhile, Mighty Barrolle emerged as winners of the Fund Raising
tournament organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports on behalf of
the national soccer team, Lone Star. The Red Boys clinched four points
to lift the tournament.
The three-day tournament came to an end at the Antoinette Tubman
Stadium (ATS) with an exciting encounter involving Liberia's two main
soccer rivals Mighty Barrolle and Invincible Eleven (IE) on Monday,
May 12.
The two rivals settled for a draw in an exciting match although
delayed by Barrolle late arrival at the jammed parked Stadium.
