Division League Kicks Off In Gbarnga

Bong County Sub-Association of Liberia Football Association has for
first time kicked-off its third National league following the
fourteen years civil conflict in the country.
According to the Chairman of the Bong County Sub-Association Mr.
Joseph Fredericks, the commencing of league is intended to help
expose talents of the youths at the grassroots level, and eleven
teams are expected to take part in the competition.
The Bong County Sub-Association boss, during the opening of the
league, admonished players and team managers as well as Presidents
to show corporation during the league.
He noted that fair-play and discipline should be the order of the
day if the game is to move forward in the country.
In the opening match on May 14, Dragon F.C narrowly defeated Action
Tiger 1-0 before a heedful of crowd.
On Saturday May 20, ETM forced Super Strikers to a one all draw
while in the second game Debra F.C was flogged by Future Lone Star
F.C one goal to zero.
The league will continue Saturday and Sunday at the Gbarnga Sports
Stadium with Future Lone Star locking horns with Super Strikers and
Debra F.C will go against Coach Cooper Sanah's Dragon.
