As Invincible Eleven Majestic Sports
Association (IEMSA) new leadership prepares to take office soon,
the two officials of the team who were threatened with removal
from their positions, Malikie Dukuly and Elizabeth Banama have
finally survived the wrath of the fans.
At a well attended meeting over the
weekend at the Ashmun Street Office by heads of various
chapters, it was agreed that the two officials remain on board.
The head of the I.E chapter in West Point,
Alpha Massaley in interview with this paper yesterday said the
decision to retain the two I.E officials was intended to avoid
further controversy and bad feelings in the association.
He said: "Bring back of the officials to
the association was necessary at this time when the team was
making significant process in the ongoing LFA national league
session.
Mr,Massaley also disclosed that the two
officials' names have already been placed on the two-paged
document which has been submitted to the Board for their
approval.
He named others whose names were submitted
as Isaac Nyenabo, President, Mohammed Sheriff, Vice President
for Fans Clubs, Malikie Dukuly, Vice President for Operation,
Elizabeth Banama, Secretary General, Zoe Pannoh, Vice President
for Players Welfare, Mario Hoff, Vice President for
Administration and Prince Richards, Assistant Secretary General.
Commenting on the status of the head
coach, Raymond Moulton, Mr, Massaley said they have also reached
a decision retain him until the end of this league season.
